Checking in for 2025!
Welcome In!
I know everyone is counting down the days until the season opens, as it will be here before we know it! Unfortunately, we won’t be open right away. The course still has a good amount of snow and once it melts, we are going to let it drain so the course won’t turn into a mud trail. Stay tuned for more updates on our Facebook and Instagram page.
Some housekeeping items:

Now, let’s talk some golf!! How good are the guys on tour? The answer is simple, very good. Joe Highsmith had himself an incredible week carding back-to-back rounds of seven under 64. From barely making the cut to winning the tournament. That just shows how wild golf can be. Us young guns are taking over, well some of them not me. Speaking of young guns, Luke Clanton, he’s the real deal. 20 accelerated points in less than a year to obtain his PGA Tour card. For those that don’t know, college players now can obtain their tour card via PGA Tour U or like Luke, accelerated points based on performance. Let’s just put this in perspective. Luke is still in college, and he obtained points by making cuts, and finishing in the top ten in a few events. Making the cut is ONLY 1 POINT. Sit on that, in one year, he played with the best of the best and accumulated 1 point per cut made not event played. Some professionals make one to two cuts a year and he made enough cuts to earn his card. Unreal. It’s as simple as I could put it. Well done, Luke.
Up next, Bay Hill.
Stay tuned for next week’s post, with more course updates and more golf talk!
